Three Key Points for Using Outdoor Advertising Tents
1. Choose of Tent Site
The support of the outdoor tent should be placed on a relatively flat area, with the entrance and exit facing away from the wind. The ground should be relatively dry, and a thin lawn is the best. If the ground has a slight slope, the exit should be at the downhill to facilitate digging ditches for drainage.
2. Digging Drainage Ditches
When camping, if rain is possible, the procedure of digging drainage ditches must not be omitted. The drainage ditch should be close to the outer edge of the tent. For outdoor tents without a skirt, the position of the ditch should be such that the water flowing down from the outer tent can easily enter the ditch. The drainage ditch is dug around the outdoor tent to allow accumulated water to drain smoothly.
3. Support and Fixation
After spreading the outdoor tent, first fix the four corners of the inner tent to make the tent bottom flat and firm on the ground. If possible, a ground mat can be placed under the outdoor tent, which can not only protect the tent bottom but also achieve the best waterproof effect. When supporting the outer tent, in addition to reliable connection with the tent poles, pay special attention to pulling the guy ropes tightly to make the outer tent tight, so as to achieve the best rainproof performance of the outer tent. For outdoor tents with a skirt, use soft soil or sand to press it down; in winter, snow can also be used for pressing, which is more conducive to wind protection. The fixing of the ground nails should have an inclination angle, preferably 35-45 degrees. The distance and direction of the ground nails entering the ground should be the same axis as the guy ropes, and the guy ropes should form a 90-degree angle with the ground nails, which is conducive to achieving the maximum bearing strength. In the fixing sequence, attention should be paid to corresponding fixing, for example: first the left front corner, then the right rear corner, right front corner, left rear corner in turn. After the entire tent is fixed, adjust the guy ropes so that the pulling force in all directions is consistent. After setting up the tent, check the distance between the inner and outer tents. If they are attached together, it will affect rainproof and dewproof, and adjustments should be made.
